Jimmer Fredette

Shanghai Sharks (CBA) re-signed 32-year old American 188cm guard Jimmer Fredette (college: BYU) for season 2021-22. Fredette was a team leader there last season. In 47 CBA games he recorded very impressive stats: 26.8ppg, 5.6rpg, 6.4apg and 1.7spg. Great season indeed as he was voted to All-Chinese CBA Honorable Mention.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Panathinaikos in Greek A1 where in 18 games he averaged 13.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.3apg. He helped them to win the regular season. A very good year in his career as he was selected to All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention. Fredette also played 27 games in Euroleague where he had 12.9ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.8apg. It was a very successful season as he was voted to All-Euroleague Honorable Mention.
In 2011 he was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in first round (10th overall). The former Brigham Young University standout is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Fredette has played also professionally in NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs), NBA G League (Westchester Knicks), The Basketball Tournament (The Money Team) and NBA Summer League (Golden State Warriors).
Among many awards he received All-Chinese CBA Player of the Year award and All-Chinese CBA Import Player of the Year award back in 2017.
The scouts decsribe him following way:
(by Tyler Ingle for in 2011)

Wide array of ways to put the ball in the basket .. Great size and strength for a point guard .. Strong finisher around the rim .. Uncanny shooting ability. Struggles to close out on shooters .. As the primary offensive option on his team, he hasnt proven he can be a pass-first point guard
