Beijing Royal Fighters (CBA) agreed terms with 31-year old American guard Marcus Denmon (191cm-84kg-90, college: Missouri, agency: BeoBasket). Denmon played last season at Shanghai Sharks. In 43 CBA games in China he had very impressive stats: 17.7ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.7apg and 1.1spg.
In 2012 he was drafted by San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in second round (59th overall). The former University of Missouri star is in his tenth season in pro basketball.
He represented USA at the World University Games in Shenzhen (China) -1989 years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 8.3ppg, 1.9rpg, 1.4apg, 1.9spg, FGP: 56.7%, 3PT: 17.6%, FT: 75.0%.
Denmon is quite experienced player. Denmon’s career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in five different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. Denmon has played previously professionally also in France (Chalon/Saor), Greece (Panathinaikos), Italy (Brindisi) and Turkey (Tofas, Gaziantep and Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi) and China (Golden Bulls and Hunan).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Greek League championship title in 2018. He was voted to Chinese CBA All-Star Game in 2020.
