Shougang Beijing Ducks (CBA) added to their roster 32-year old American (has also Taiwanese passport) point guard Jeremy Lin (190cm-91kg-88, college: Harvard) for new 2021-22 season. It is actually his comeback to Ducks as he has played here before. Lin played last season at Santa Cruz Warriors (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 11 NBA-G-League games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.1ppg, 3.2rpg and 6.4apg (top 5).
The previous (19-20) season he played at Ducks in Chinese CBA where in 43 games he averaged remarkable 22.4ppg, 5.6rpg, 5.6apg and 1.9spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Guard of the Year and selected to 1st Team and to the All-Star Game.
He has played previously professionally in NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, LA Lakers and Brooklyn Nets) and NBA G League (College Park S. and Stockton Kings).
Lin attended Harvard University until 2010 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
On Lin:
Heralded guard whose quickness and handle could make him an immediate starter .. An accomplished shooter who can affect the game in a variety of ways .. Earned a reputation for making plays and winning games during a standout career
