Guangsha L. – Liaoning FL 82-100

Liaoning Flying Leopards claimed CBA title. They rallied past Guangsha in the fourth game of the championship series to complete the sweep and lift the trophy. The game was mostly controlled by Flying Leopards. Guangsha Lions managed to win fourth quarter 27-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Flying Leopards looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Jiwei Zhao (184-1995) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American power forward Eric Moreland (208-1991, college: Oregon St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Minghui Sun (187-1996) replied with 13 points and 5 assists and the former international center ZhongHao Xu (212-1990) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Guangsha Lions. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
