American Jared Sullinger (206-F-92) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Shenzhen L. and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 28.
The 29-year old forward had a double-double of 34 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat Zhejiang GB. (#3, 20-5) 100-94. Shenzhen L. maintains the 6th position in Chinese CBA. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Shenzhen L. will need more victories to improve their 17-8 record. In the team’s last game Sullinger had a remarkable 59.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Shenzhen L.’s top player in his first season with the team. Ohio State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Sullinger is in league’s top in rebounds (5th best: 11.4rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg,51.6% FGP and 40.5% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 30-year old former international center Hanlin Tao (208-C-91) of Shandong H.. Tao impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 19 rebounds. Bad luck as Shandong H. lost that game 89-103 to the lower-ranked Xinjiang FT (#13, 10-15). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Shandong H. managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 10th place. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 14-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. Tao is one of the most experienced players at Shandong H. and has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.9ppg (#7). He also registered 12.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Kay Felder (175-PG-95) of Shanxi L. (#7). Felder got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds and twelve assists. He was a key player of Shanxi L., leading his team to a 122-118 win against the higher-ranked Guangsha L. (#4, 19-5). Shanxi L. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 8 lost games. Felder has a great season in China. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 25.1ppg (2nd best) and assists with 10.6apg (best passer). He also has 2.5spg and FGP: 50.9%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
