MVP Yi Jianlian led his team to a Fiba Asia Championship over the Philippines while scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 2 blocks for China in the Final. Yi during the tournament averaged 16.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 blocks per game, while shooting 52.9 percent from the field. Jianlian was added to the All-Star Five Team which included his teammates:
