The Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) has been the top basketball league in China for more than 12 years. Established in 1995, the league consists of 16 teams throughout China. Top players such as Yao Ming, Sun Yue and Mengke Bateer are all products of the CBA. Chinese mens basketball is strong and they allow import players from around the world. Mostly, the teams if they do allow an import player outside of China, they are usually Americans.
